Solution Architect - IT

Total years of Experience Over 15+ years in the software development and consulting experience

Roles & Responsibilities : 

- Be able to advise clients (CTO/Chief Architect level) on software architectures, technology stack selections, DevOps tools and strategy, test automation approaches, etc. - Be able to review enterprise application portfolio and be able to provide application rationalization, modernization strategies, future roadmap - Should be willing to roll-up his/her sleeves to get hands dirty - Attention to detail such code reviews, identifying vulnerabilities in the code/infrastructure, able to troubleshoot and fix issues in application - Share best practices from past experience and other engagements - Developing customer proposals - solution architecture, pitch decks, estimating solution effort, resourcing and timelines

Required Expertise : 

- Strong software engineering expertise with experience in building products/platforms for large enterprises or software companies 

- Expertise in modern application architectures, full stack solutions - in areas of application development, web and mobile platforms 

- In-depth, experience in developing applications with either Java/J2EE tech stack and database such as Oracle, MySQL, etc. - Experience with DevOps - CI/CD pipeline, Test Automation - tools and processes 

- Experience with containerization related management stacks like Kubernetes 

- Expert level application architecture capabilities with at least one of the major cloud providers such as Amazon AWS or MS Azure - Cloud native architectures - microservices, serverless architectures 

- Strong understanding of microservice architectures, principles and patterns - Expertise on Agile development and related methodologies like TDD, BDD, Performance/Load testing etc.

 - Experience with product development lifecycle, lean startup approach. 

- Passion and experience applying emerging technologies (e.g. Chatbots, RPA, AI/ML, etc.) to generate new business opportunities and address modern business challenges 

- Experience with architecting distributed systems, event-driven architecture using Kafka - Good understanding of NoSQL database such as MongoDB, Cassandra, etc. 

- Experience with REST APIs development, API Management tools (e.g. MuleSoft, Apigee)

Basic : 

Requirements - Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering (computer, electronics, etc.) from premium institutes - Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment - Customer facing
