Mandatory Skills:  - 10-12 years of experience in software development required, experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.  - 5+ years of experience in financial messaging (SWIFT, Fedwire, T2S) & relevant technologies/products.  - Hands on experience with IBM MessageBroker/Integration Broker. Other message bus technologies, such as TIBCO, KAFKA or other open source based messaging integration technologies such as Apache Camel, is a plus.  - Experience in designing Service Oriented Applications (SOA) for enterprise applications. Must have worked with various programming technologies in the past for highly scalable applications. Strong experience in Java suite is must.  - Experience with Design patterns, testing frameworks  - Experience working with RDBMS databases is a must. Experience with Big data technologies such as Hadoop/Hive/Spark is a big plus.  - The candidate will work with onsite and offshore teams to accomplish time critical projects in message bus strategy for the group.  - Candidate must be able to mentor a group of global developers in addition to being hands on developer.  Job Duties  - Provides comprehensive senior-level technical consulting to IT management and senior technical staffs.   - Analyzes information and provides recommendations to address and resolve business issues for - Financial Messaging- group.  - Guides and consults with IT management and technical staffs regarding use of emerging technologies and associated services.   - Participates in defining corporate implementation and integration strategies of new technologies.   - Advocates for innovative, creative technology solutions. Contributes to the achievement of area objectives.   - Evaluates compliance with the organization's technology standards. Works with internal groups on implementation opportunities, challenges, and requirements of various applications.
