Solution Architect - HR for Mumbai Location

Overview:

Job Purpose:

- Facilitate demand management during project ideation and early stages within the IM projects.

- Provide solutions aligned with existing technical and functional architecture to ensure compliance with strategy, policy, and operational supportability.

- Ensure quality and consistency in functional template designs for deployments.

- Stay updated on emerging technologies in the field.

- Foster strong relationships with HR stakeholders and lead/participate in HR domain projects, including application integration.

Key Accountabilities :

- Support demand management by drafting project charters and translating them into detailed requirements.

- Translate business requirements into feasible solutions.

- Develop and communicate roadmaps for relevant applications.

- Review impact assessments and solution directions for change requests.

- Maintain IM documentation and CMDB for relevant business processes and applications.

- Ensure quality and consistency in template designs for deployments.

- Support testing and training activities for change requests and projects.

- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Activities:

- Lead or participate in various roles within IM projects.

- Support handling My IT tickets as per the IM Operating Model.

- Assist HR business leads and stakeholders on IT-related matters.

Experience:

- Background in SAP Consulting or HR business roles with a strong IT focus.

- Approximately 7-10 years of experience in the IT sector, including at least 5 years in SAP HR applications domain, particularly SuccessFactors.

Education:

Master's degree in HR management, computer science, or related field.

Skills:

- Effective communicator and influencer with proficiency in English.

- Proficient in business process modeling and application architecture design, utilizing frameworks, tools, and methodologies.

- Strong analytical skills across technical domains.

- Problem-solving abilities with a focus on results.

- Neutral approach towards technology, vendors, and products.

- Broad knowledge and experience in architecture, technology platforms, and HR business domain, especially in the SAP SuccessFactors environment.

- Hands-on experience in HR IT implementation projects, with familiarity in areas such as payroll, FTE reporting, and employee expenses.

- Preferably knowledgeable in SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI).

Context Specific:

Position in the Organization:

The Solution Architect Finance will be part of the Finance domain, reporting to the Functional Information Manager within the IM Projects department, collaborating closely with solution architects in IM Projects and application managers in IM Services.

Level of Autonomy:

Co-responsible for solution architecture activities in the Finance domain, particularly in Management Accounting.

Area of Expertise:

Management Accounting with expertise in SAP FICO, ECC6.0/S4HANA, integration with MM and SD modules, and financial planning solutions.
