Essential Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate should have proven experience in technology and business solutions (Healthcare domain experience is very relevant as this role focuses on Healthcare and Life sciences initiatives), designing solution architectures meeting functional as well as non-functional requirements, creating multi-phased, complex migration strategies that address technology innovation, understand complex IT and business problems, and applying technology and solution portfolio knowledge to drive innovation and new business opportunities.

The Role, requires you to :

- Understand the business requirements and provide technical architecture, aligned with the Industry/Domain Specific Reference Architectures

- Take a consultative approach to develop, present and explain the value and vision of proposed business solutions to customers/clients technical and business teams.

- Provide leadership to developers in designing and developing software modules as per the defined architecture

- Educate the development teams on system architecture and design

- Provide prototypes and implementations of modules for complex or key areas of the architecture as starting points to rest of the team

- Educate the business and act as the champion for Domain specific reference architectures and adoption of innovative technologies within customer/client businesses

- Work closely with platform teams to bring learning's from the businesses to improve the platform.

- Help businesses in achieving their goals in solution delivery with quality

- Provide direction and guidance to the business in discovering the new solutions and set objectives, and to produce plans, roadmaps, and methodologies

- Provide inputs to project manager for estimation

- Ensure architecture compliance during the execution of project

- Architecture assessment and recommendations

- Periodic technical audits

- Contribution to value portal

- Inputs for quality and productivity improvement through tools and automation adoption

- Contribution for Architect Academy in mentoring and training Junior or Prospective Architects

- Provide technical design and support in ASSET creation - IP, Framework

- Pursue technical certifications, Leadership and Soft Skills training

- Participate in recruitment

Requirements:

- Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Computer Science

- Minimum of 6 years of hands-on development experience in software or web development

- Experience in execution of atleast 2-3 projects as Sr. Technical Architect or Solution Architect, being responsible for the complete end-to-end solution and Quality of the deliverable.

- Experience in responding to the customers’ RFI/RFP’s from technical perspective. Should be able to defend the solution in front of the customer.

- Experience in Architecture Styles, Patterns, Design Patterns, Architecture documentation

- Expertise in utilization of Tools like RAD, Enterprise Architect, etc.

Desired Characteristics:

- Healthcare and life sciences solutions domain expert and visionary with technical leadership skills and a demonstrated record of delivery

- Extensive experience in Java enterprise development technologies, such as Spring, Struts, Hibernate, JMS, Web Service, ESB’s, Middleware, etc.

- Proven experience and understanding of multi-tier application development in enterprise and consumer environment

- Delivery oriented thinker with insight into industry evolution, and experience with customer environments

- Real-time Analytics and big data

- Multimedia and Social mobile Computing

- Horizontal Solutions, i.e. common component building blocks for support of multi-vertical (Industry) Solution
