The position is with top IT consulting service group for their Pune IDC.&nbsp; Exp: 15 - 22 years Specifications are as below: Role responsibilities: - Oversees and designs the information architecture for the data warehouse, including all information structures i.e. staging area, data warehouse, data marts, operational data stores, oversees standardization of data definition, Oversees development of Physical and Logical modeling - Deep understanding in Data Warehousing, Enterprise Architectures, Dimensional Modelling, Star &amp; Snow-flake schema design, Reference DW Architectures, ETL Architect, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load), Data Analysis, Data Conversion, Transformation, Database Design, Data Warehouse Optimization, Data Mart Development, and Enterprise Data Warehouse Maintenance and Support etc - Inventories existing data design, including data flows and systems, Designs data Model that integrates new and existing environment, Develops - Consults with business on low to moderately complex business needs - Evaluates moderately complex requirements and creates detailed business requirements and technical specifications. Analyzes impact to other reports and - Solves moderately complex business and system issues - Participates in creation of test cases and executes basic test plans - Creates individual task estimates - Conducts architecture meetings with Team leads and Solution Architects to communicate complex ideas, issues, and system processes along with Architecture discussions in their current projects Essential Requirements : - Minimum 15 to 20 years of IT experience with 6+ years of Data Modelling experience in Data Warehouse as a Data Model/Architect - Expertise in Logical, Physical &amp; Dimensional Modelling. Develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling in a relation database, Bigdata, in-memory and MPP architectures. - Maintain in-depth and current knowledge of the Cloud architecture, Data lake, Data warehouse, BI platform, Platform to develop and deploy advanced analytics models and ETL tools - Good experience in Data Profiling &amp; Data Analysis of discrete source and target systems - Good experience of using any one Data Modelling tool like Erwin, Power Designer, ER Studio - Experience of using any ETL Tool (Informatica, PL/SQL) - Perform any of the following as needed: requirement analysis, data profiling, effort estimation for database and data warehouse design and development. - Provide thought leadership around the use of industry standard tools and models (including commercially available models and tools) by leveraging experience and current industry trends. - Provide guidance on the creation and best practices around Data Governance, Data Stewardship and overall Data Quality initiatives and processes as part of the overall data effort. - Strong knowledge of using SQL - Should have played the role of Data Modeler/Architect in large Warehouse projects with complex business requirements - 5+ years working as a Solution Architect with depth in data integration and data architecture for Enterprise Data Warehouse implementations (conceptual, logical, physical &amp; dimensional models). - Ability to work with multiple projects and work streams at one time. Must be able to deliver results based upon project deadlines. - Willing to flex daily work schedule to allow for time-zone differences for global team communications - Excellent analytical and problem solving skills is a must have. - Excellent communication skills (oral and written) - Make recommendations and assess proposals for optimization and Must be experienced in diverse industry and tools and data warehousing technologies Desirable Skills :&nbsp; - Bachelor of Engineering or Master of Computer Applications - Power Designer Tool for Data Modelling - Experience in working in Agile (SCRUM) Methodology
