Circle Head/State Head - Sales and Operations
The role is in Electric Vehicle business domain.
Build a robust distribution network with a clear focus on overall business outcome :
- Identify and appoint most appropriate distributor/franchises
- Setup highly responsive supply chain which accommodates customer demands in minimal time.
Plan and formulate cost efficient sales and operations functions
- Oversee the effectiveness of sales function across the given territory
- Ensure all operational procedures are implemented as defined.
- Leverage on business intelligence to benchmark the systems and processes inorder to achieve continuous improvement and customer satisfaction
- Ensure achievement of customer acquisition and revenue targets
- Cascade corporate strategies across the circle for achieving business goals.
- Devise Circle level long term, medium term and short-term plans to achieve both customer acquisition and revenue targets.
- Oversee business growth to achieve and retain market leadership position
- Plan and achieve business expansion in the given territory
- Continuously look out new opportunities for expansion of business
- Plan strategies for entering into for new markets
Implement marketing and brand building strategies:
- Interact with various internal stakeholders to evolve measures to deliver consistent brand identity.
- Plan Circle level strategies to improve brand image.
Continuously improve the customer experience :- Devise systems and processes to provide excellent customer experience
- Devise systems to gather customer feedback regularly.
- Continuously look for areas for improving customer experience
Develop system for gathering market intelligence and competitor activities :- Devise systems to gather competitor activities, new developments in the market
- Analyse the market intelligence information to evaluate business threats and growth opportunities.
- Provide regular feedback to the management
- Take corrective actions to mitigate any potential business risks.
Sales Forecasting and Planning :- Analyse the customer and market trend and develop a sales forecast for the coming period.
- Prepare a sales action plan to achieve the forecasted the sales and revenue targets
Perform the role of people manager :- Identify, select, recruit and re tain top talent to achieve business goals
- Engage and motivate people through creating a culture of ownership, innovation, customer focus and entrepreneurship.
- Set performance expectations and oversee all team members achieve and exceed their set goals and objectives.
- Oversee people development requirement to meet current and future business needs.
