JOB DETAILS: Position Title: Software Engineering COE lead( CIO level) Key skills: - Experience in setting up software engineering COEs - Strong Governance & QA knowledge - International exposure - DeVops, Integration and Programming expert Company : Leading US MNC present in India since last 14+ years, known for its Kitchen & bath products along with powerful generators & engines, with manufacturing plants at Jhagadia, Gujarat; and Aurangabad, Maharashtra. The company also has two services business based at Pune - ITC (India Technical Center) and GSS (Global Shared Services). The ITC (IT Technical Center) has more than 150 employees. The COE Head will lead the Software Engineering centre of excellence and build capability of the team. Devise and Implement best IT practices. Lead IT innovations and create new IT capabilities to drive higher efficiencies. Role Overview - As a leader in the Software Engineering Center of Excellence, the role is a blend of deep technical skills and expertise with a passion for superior technical solutions. - The person should be deeply committed to delivering value to the business partners. - The person will partner with other leaders to build and evolve consistent practices and standards for the specialized skills and expertise of the software engineering CoE, and influence the vision, strategic decisions, solutions, and priorities. - It is a senior-level role responsible for overseeing teams of software engineers, and providing leadership, vision, and direction for the software engineering organization. - This position is also responsible for recruiting, developing, and retaining talent, as well as ensuring the software engineering staff has the skills and capabilities to meet business needs.
