Software Development Manager

- In your role as a Software Development Manager, you will build and grow a team of software engineers, provide technical leadership on design discussions, innovate and provide a vision for various Pricing components, and collaborate with external software teams in India and the U.S.

- You will work closely with business stakeholders worldwide to understand and prioritize their requirements while aligning them with our customer-centric pricing strategies. You will work with diverse external groups to coordinate project releases while providing regular communication to senior management on progress, risks and change control.

- Ability to lead extended cross-discipline virtual teams, excellent project management and executive presentation skills, and a data-driven approach for making key decisions will be essential to succeed in this role.

- Ideal candidate should be a seasoned technical manager with 3+ years of leading teams to develop technical solutions to solve business problems.

- Candidate must have excellent written/verbal communication skills and strong analytical skills.

- Candidate must be technically credible to lead a team of world-class software engineers and must have a deep understanding/experience in object oriented design, algorithms/data structures, and Java/C++

- Practical experience with software engineering best-practices and project management best-practices

- Successful candidates will have 5+ years of industry experience with a Bachelor/Masters degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

- Qualified candidates will have experience managing multiple demands and competing priorities to achieve results in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

- Knowledge of data mining techniques, statistics/optimization and website user interface experience is highly desired, but not required

- Experience with project delivery for large, cross functional projects

- Knowledge of multi-threaded programming, and distributed systems are a plus

- Familiarity with database modeling & SQL is a plus
