Software Architect

Opportunity with one of our US based Start up Company.

Eligibility :

- BE or MS Computer Science (Degree from a reputed college is a plus!) or

- MCA with equivalent work experience

Essential Responsibilities :

- Lead and direct the Engineering Team towards the future of web software architecture

- Create and maintain the architectural blueprint for the various platforms

- Design and manage the architecture for our client to meet scalability and performance requirements

- Present to management technical issues, scalability initiatives and their impact to the business and help in prioritizing the implementation

- Software technical leader who loves solving mission-critical problems and has led multiple cutting edge technology development efforts

- Should come up with design strategies to improve the overall architecture of the system for high availability, scalability and fault tolerance

- Provide guidance/mentorship to the team and play the key contributor role in designing/developing a robust and scalable solution

- Lead and advocate code quality, code reviews, pair programming and other code quality related initiatives

- Deliver technical input on unit and integration tests, deployment procedures and standards

- Lead and own software design meetings

Desired Skills :

- 8+ years of experience with progressively increasing responsibilities in engineering and architecture with hands on experience in full-stack development, design and architecture

- Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms and design patterns

- Must have a track record of successfully building and maintaining large scale, high performance technology products in the industry

- Demonstrable versatility in multiple front-end and back-end technologies (Example: Java, Spring, AngularJS, CSS3, MongoDB, Solr, MySQL, Memcached, Redis etc.)

- Experience building large scale service / micro service oriented platforms

- US or foreign countries experience in an internet start-up company and product development experience a huge plus

- Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies

- Strong leadership ability to motivate engineers with good presentation/communication skills

- Great attention to detail with the ability to meet aggressive deadlines

- Ability to translate highly complex technical issues to non-technical audience
