Position Purpose :

The primary responsibility of the Head of Diversity & Inclusion is to support the mission and vision of Sodexo's Corporate Diversity and Community Engagement primarily by designing, implementing and facilitating diversity and inclusion leadership training, education and awareness programs.

Role Description :

- Designs, implements, facilitates and supports all Company diversity and inclusion leadership training, education and awareness programs, including diversity recharges, employee engagement exercises and other similar events.

- Provides consultation to, and plans and conducts general sessions and diversity and inclu-sion/leadership development training of, the Company's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Councils, the Joint CSR Council and the Employee Network Groups.

- Partners and consults with regional training departments, property and corporate CSR Councils, the Joint CSR Council, and Employee Network Groups to conduct diversity and inclusion training needs/root cause/gap analyses; and designs and delivers appropriate custom solutions.

- Leads and facilitates decision-making discussions with key stakeholders to determine changes and upgrades to diversity and inclusion curriculum.

- Aligns operational training and skills development with current diversity and employee engagement initiatives to ensure that outcomes drive Company deliverables.

- Remains current with updated policies, procedures, corporate initiatives and events, and communicates them to employees as necessary.

- Engages in self-directed work; sets and maintains timetables for projects; manages deadlines and resources; works with a wide degree of creativity and latitude as well as minimal supervision; and regularly updates his/her own skills through on-going training and formal education.

- Acts as a mentor of other Company employees and models the competencies and standards of effective leadership; participates in Company-sponsored volunteer and other CSR opportunities.

Experience :

- Ability to present and facilitate effectively to multi-faceted audiences, and to debrief experiential learning processes with the capacity to engage adult learners.

- Ability to develop and maintain relationships of trust and confidence at all levels of the enter-prise from line- to executive-level employees.

- Working knowledge of adult learning theories and methodologies with the ability to apply them in learning/leadership/technology and change management.

- Excellent planning, time management, communication, decision-making, presentation, organization and interpersonal skills.

- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate effectively and maintain a professional relationship with a diverse workforce.

- Excellent customer service skills.

- Have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.

- Professional appearance and demeanor.

Key Competencies :

- Bachelor's degree and 5 to 10 years cross-functional, cross-disciplinary project management and business analysis experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

- Expertise in social and environmental responsibility, community involvement, and communications

- Ability to influence senior management and peers, build business case to tie social responsibility to core business strategy, and lead cross-functional teams

- Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills

- Excellent communicator with ability to make public presentations and create effective written and web content.

- Ability to build strong working relationships with senior executives and grassroots employees

- Creativity and resourcefulness in developing and executing engagement plans, communications campaigns, and community events
