The Sales Manager will drive sales strategy & excellence, people leadership and world-class execution in India in coordination with the Country Manager.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

Strategic leadership for defining the commercial path to growth and profitability of SodaStream in India.

- Develop and implement SodaStream’s retail strategy across the market, by customer, channel and category to ensure that SodaStream optimises its partnership with “winning and important” retailers.

- Implement customer strategies by channel that meet or exceed assigned key account sales targets and support the brand’s growth & equity objectives.

- Identify distribution gaps and opportunities and close them.

- Establish business and personal KPI system for sales teams and optimize reward system.

- Achieve P&L and profitability targets.

- Own ongoing commercial best practices of learning, sharing and optimization.

- Provide follow up on the implementation of regional sales plans.

Experience & Expertise

- Strong leadership skills, leadership and ambassadorial presence.

- Executive experience in Retail, Wholesale and/or FMCG/Durable Sales related business where there was strong interaction with buyers, merchandisers, and retail marketing.

- Executive maturity and experience to manage and broker complex business discussions to gain critical buy-in and adoption of SodaStream’s customer initiatives.

- Possess outstanding organizational awareness and market intelligence.

- Sales and Retail Management skill sets are pre-requisite.

- Strong negotiation and analytical skills. Ability to establish and manage KPI’s and P&L’s.

- MBA.
