Primary Objectives :
The department OPER / ORG/ Transitions is responsible for:
- Supporting Operations Teams in their transformation strategy,
- Provide key services to Project Sponsors on various transitions missions
- Framing of scope for off shoring
- Execution Leadership/Support for off shoring
- Feasibility Studies for off shoring
- Coordination of cross-functional projects
In this context, the Project Manager manages and executes the Transitions mission in accordance with the framework of GOM Methodology
General Objectives & Main Responsibilities :
As part of the OPER Transitions Team, the main responsibilities of the Senior Business Analyst / Project Manager are as follows
- Ownership of all allocated Transition project tasks from GSC, add value on the tasks in charge. Ability to ensure governance is followed for every project and status is reported
- Participate in definition and building of roadmap: functional requirements and constraints, mapping of operational process to be moved, target processes/ controls/ procedures/ and organization in collaboration with production teams and managers, respect of legal/compliance/ regulatory rules
- Organize the transfer of tasks in accordance with GOM methodology: Build and communicate detailed transfer process planning. Involve transversal teams in the planning phase to ensure appropriate planning and ensure robust governance
- Act as a high standard service provider for our internal clients to meet their expectations and satisfaction in term of governance and communication. Should contribute to convey an OPER ORG image of professional. Ability to communicate clearly about the projects (planning, resources, constraints, priorities)
- Analyse and assess impact of the transition to other teams, processes and departments to ensure seamless migration
- Plan and lead workshops with stake holders to obtain conclusive inputs and feedback
- Ability to understand issue, to explain stakes involved and to propose solutions, raise alert when relevant.
- Cooperation and participation to the improvement of the ORG team efficiency: transfer of knowledge/expertise to the new joiners, knowledge sharing, standardization of reporting, trainings on methodology, communication about best practices or new ideas
- Manage PMO reporting, with high quality accurate data, in adherence to timelines. Should be able to improvise the existing reporting templates/practices and provide meaningful information to stakeholders (for PMO only)
Key Skill Areas & Knowledge Required :
- Strong Project Management skills
- Knowledge in operational macro processes of different asset classes preferred
- Able to work in high pressure environment
- Very good communication skills both written and Oral - able to adapt communication to all levels.
- Good skills to lead contributions to the project
- Former experience in CIB operations and operations knowledge in different asset classes is a plus
