Senior Manager - Delivery Excellence

Job Description :

Qualification/ Responsibilities in the Role :

The role incumbent, as Lead Consultant is specifically responsible for :

Change Management :

Promote a culture of efficiency through :

- Identification of areas of opportunity by that contribute to efficiency and client focus/centricity across GSC and within the perimeter. Contribute to productivity and innovation initiatives in the BL.

- Support strategic and business line objectives by providing guidance, mentoring and execution support on projects requiring various methodologies to execute Eg lean six sigma, frugal, BPM, Kaizen, Liveflow, etc.

- Manage lean six sigma, frugal, BPM, Kaizen, Liveflow trainings & certifications

- Support the group on external consulting assignments involving training, execution & mentoring on the SG efficiency methodologies of lean six sigma, frugal, BPM, Kaizen, Liveflow trainings & certifications

Project Management :

- Ability to handle complex projects independently

- Ensure all the projects are meeting the requirements by the client and the requirements are clearly defined

- Ensure the projects are concluded by meeting all deliverables, within stipulated timelines, through proper execution, governance and monitoring

- Report and escalate to management as needed

- Successfully manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders

- Perform risk management to minimize project risks

- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors

- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

People Management :

- Ensure team's performance capability and competency level for optimal performance. Contribute to the training strategy for the perimeter and ensure sound implementation. Mentor and coach direct reports and assist direct reports in managing their teams.

- Build a performance oriented culture within the perimeter; ensuring the correct message on the significance of merit and contribution is sent across during Reward and Recognition exercises.

- Ensure organizational best practices in the Talent Management area viz. succession planning, mobility, competency building etc. are established and well running in the Consulting team - thereby ensuring employee stability, business resilience and organizational preparedness for the future.

- Disseminate critical information, provide periodic up-dates and deliver various organizational communication to the teams in the perimeter as well as address any concerns or grievances.

Delivery and Operational Objectives:

- Promulgating the culture of efficiency (Customer Journeys, Six Sigma, BPM, Frugal management, kaizen) through mentoring of projects and resources

- End to End responsibility for identifying problem statement, developing a solution and driving implementation to achieve desired outcome

- Deliver Lean Six Sigma trainings & certification

- Responsible for implementation of structure program governance and establish and manage appropriate governance with stakeholders

- Proactive identification of risk and road blocks that affects program time lines/expected outcomes and develop mitigation plans / workarounds

- Coach, mentor and providing performance feedback to the team

Education level - Master's Degree

Work experience - 7-10 years

Contract type- Permanent
