Job Description - MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

- This position handles primary duties including but not limited to supervising of trade life cycle functions in middle office operations

- Awareness of IB products and good understanding of the lifecycle process

- All trade related queries to be executed right the first time

- Comfortable to lead discussions with onshore on niche IB products like corporate actions, pricing, NAV, etc

- Work with upstream and downstream teams of the middle office lifecycle

- Interact with front office and co-ordinate for efficient exchange of information to action upon the trade query

- Work to ensure timely deliveries and within budget allocated

- Coordinate with other cross-functional teams to ensure transfer completeness - SG front office teams, Knowledge Management, Business Continuity, Training, Infrastructure, HR, Legal & Compliance, etc

- Promote and implement training and development activities for individuals and the team

- Ensure cooperation and participation to the improvement of the team efficiency

- Transfer of knowledge/expertise to the new joiners, knowledge sharing, standardization of reporting, trainings on methodology, communication about best practices or new ideas

- Ability to work under pressure and multiple deadlines and escalate as appropriate with all necessary stakeholders in a timely manner and with transparent communications

Qualification - SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

Qualifications

- Knowledge of capital market operations and financial products with sound technical knowledge of middle office processes

- Experience of managing a team of atleast 10-15 resources

- Qualified to master degree level or equivalent specialized in financial market

- Good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel and Visual Basic), financial derivatives and valuation methodologies

- Good understanding of risk methodologies and risk metrics used across various asset classes and ability to interpret and challenge risk metrics

Education level - Master's Degree

Work experience - 7-10 years

Contract type- Permanent
