The transformation includes increasing the teams with specialists, creating big data and ML platform, Service Oriented Architecture, Devops etc to innovate in the areas of data engineering, data science and visualization. The team in Bangalore is strengthening itself to support this aspirational journey. Primary Role As the head of the big data and ML team in Bangalore the incumbent would have the following responsibilities: - Ensure quality and on time delivery of projects and enhancement of existing applications - Work with global technology and business counterparts to propose and enhance existing processes and solutions - Expand the team in Bangalore by adding technical experts - Establishing efficient delivery processes (Agile @ Scale, Continuous Integration/Delivery etc) - Partner with global partners to prepare and execute roadmap for Bangalore team in line with the global aspiration - Create a bigdata platform to promote experiments and innovation - Participate in the global start up call by creating and leading innovative ideas that can be of immense value to the bank - Contribute to ML/AI initiatives at an organization level Experience & Skills: - Experience in handling small and large programs involving big data and ML - Good understanding of the technology and its capabilities - Ability to make influencing proposals and take proposals from inception to realization - Ability to build a team of experts with high technical ability - Ability to make good use of team potential in creating business value more than what is normally expected - Experience of working in high energy, multi cultural teams handling strict deadlines - Experience of setting up continuous integration and continuous delivery practices in the Agile framework - Ability to contribute to strategic topics around data and accessibility
