Responsibilities : Chapter Manager for Messaging Transport Services - Infrastructure management, Service Delivery management

Understand the Chapter's long term vision:

- Participate in Vision building activities

- Contribute to building value proposal with expected benefits

- Contribute to build an implementation strategy for chapter's backlog

- Understanding and proposing the best practices for the chapter

Help Chapter on achieving its objectives:

- Participate, build and prioritize chapter backlog

- Organize and facilitate ceremonies related to chapter's backlog

- Responsible for the backlog execution and communicate on the progress for the chapter

- Responsible for removal of any blockers and impediments in the chapter backlog execution

- Accountable for the proper synchronization of common deliverables across the support and Feature teams for the Chapter backlog

- Responsible for communication across chapters

- Ensure the participation of chapter members across leagues

- Align the chapter objectives with organization objectives

- Build a link between the various feature teams and the team members of the chapter and help delivery of the features by building the necessary capabilities

- Mobilize and leverage skills and resources between feature teams to help deliver features

- Build a strong bond between the Agile Master, PO and Chapter manager to help assess the performance of team members during team feedback sessions like ACR

Fosters skills development and knowledge sharing:

- Identify the important skills needed in the chapter to achive the chapter vision

- Define skill matrix and identify the gaps

- Upskill the chapter members by appropriate training or coaching

- Ensure and encourage the chapter members to take initiative to work collectively to achieve the chapter goals

- Identify the continuous improvement areas and support the chapter members to achieve the goals

- Create and foster an environment of innovation

- Identify and ensure the skills are resilient for the tribe vision

Maintain his own expertise through an operational activity:

- Enable the chapter members to be autonomous in executing the chapter backlog

- Make the chapter more autonomous by delegating some of the chapter manager activities to other team members while keeping accountability

Expected to take ownership of the support and project activities assigned:

- Should be able to independently manage the chapter activities with minimum guidance from the head.

- Should be able to mentor the junior resources in the team.

- Should be able to provide support/resolution on technical issues across the team.

- Responsible to implement the global MTS Strategy.

- Responsible for maintaining all the artifacts and reports for every service under scope.
