Societe Generale - AVP - Big Data Architect

Role - Big Data Architect

Total Experience : 12-15 years (5 years Big Data Experience is Mandatory )

Context : We are moving the data from other data sources to Big Data/Hadoop and that's where we are looking to on board a BigData Architect (at AVP level )

Location : Pritech office, Bangalore

Requirements :

- Person should have hands-on experience on the all the different layers of BigData ecosystem

- Data Massaging & Storage Layer

- HBASE

- Mongo DB/Cassanda/Amazon Dynamo DB (one/more of them)

Processing & Analysis Layer :

- MapReduce, PIG, HIVE

- Elastic Search

DATA Integration :

- SQOOP/ FLUME - These are data integration tools

Technological/ Framework needs :

- Hortonworks Hadoop (HDFS, YARN, AMBARI, OOZIE) data platforms

- Good Working Knowledge of any one among R and Python

Domain experience (Investment banking) - Good to have

Behavioral Skills :

- Ability to work in a cross cultural team with multi geographical locations.

- Ability to communicate (verbal and written) effectively with counterparts and vendors on technical topics

- Good understanding of design and development standards

- Demonstrates exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication, and collaboration skills
