- Collaborate with other departments (QA/QC, Sales, Purchasing, and Operations) to accurately and efficiently convert chef recipes into R&D specifications
- Handling multiple projects simultaneously, from concept through testing, scale up and production, to meet the original brief and deadlines - Develop and refine specifications and new product checklists for new and/or existing products
- Develop strategic and create new products for the company
- Providing complete accurate product costing of ingredients for the products developed
- Provide technical expertise for products in development, new or improvement of existing products
- Planning, execution and evaluation of projects while maintaining food safety and regulatory compliance
- Responsible for resolution of technical issues that arise during the development, production, operational or performance based
- Calculating the nutrition facts of the developed products and providing the management with product claims
- Conducting sensory evaluation of the developed products
- Maintaining the records of the existing and developed products, and existing and newrecipes
- Discuss the new product development ideas with the top management, Sales and Marketing department
- Screening, recruiting, training, and motivating team members, and interns
