About Smile Foundation:

Started Sustainability, social equality and the environment are now business problems. And corporate leaders can't depend on governments to solve them. Inspired by this philosophy of Peter Senge, a group of young corporate professionals came together in 2002 to set up Smile Foundation to work with grassroots initiatives for effecting positive changes in the lives of underprivileged children, their families and communities.

Today, Smile Foundation is directly benefiting over 1.5 million children and families through more than 400 welfare projects on education, healthcare, livelihood, and women empowerment spread across 2,000 villages and urban slums in 25 states, every year.

Job Summary :

Smile foundation is looking for a dynamic and passionate professional who has experience of working in leadership positions for heading its Child for Child Programme at the national level.

Child for Child is a national level programme for the holistic development of privileged children, with focus on imparting value education to school children and helping them grow up to be significant change makers, who contribute positively to the society.

Job Description :

- Position will be responsible for leading all school partnership activities and widen the scope of voluntary contributions for sustainability of projects & programme of organisation.

- Developing, training and leading Teams in all the Regions at Pan India level.

- Monitoring and reviewing team performance to attain department business plan.

- Generating leads, acquiring new partnerships with Educational Institutions majorly schools, retaining the existing partnerships.

- Formulate Annual Business Plan and Implement successful school partnership strategies.

- Ensure/develop innovation/alternate approaches within the Programme.

- Build & Nurture strong relationships with various key stakeholders i.e School Principals/ Chairperson/Directors/Head Chain of Schools/ Education Departments and Authorities etc. to maximize their long-term association with the organization.

- Extensive travel to ensure successful implementation of activities.

Minimum Experience: 15 years and above

Preferred Qualifications/Skills:

- Post Graduate preferably in Sociology or equivalent, MBA will have added advantage

- Expertise in Fundraising/ Business development/ Sales & marketing

- Experience on product marketing utilising technology innovations

- Excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills; both written and verbal

- Demonstrable success in managing and developing diverse teams, building collaboration and cooperation within and across teams and guiding delivery under pressure

- Experience in School businesses development initiatives will be an added advantage
