Desired Skills and Experience
- SME in web analytics- B2B industry preferred
- Analyzing online user behavior from the Google Analytics and GTM is mandatory
- Well-versed with at least 1-2 other Web Analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics, Webtrends, Coremetrics is preferred
- Knowledge on debugging tools
- Familiar with R OR SAS and experience working on complex data analytics projects would be preferred
- Experience working on Text OR Social Data Mining projects would be a plus
- Proficiency developing dashboards, custom reports, advanced segments and calculated metrics, complex goals, and the interpretation and presentation of findings
- Some experience with SEM, SEO, video and social measurement techniques across owned/paid/earned media
- Advanced Excel skills and an ability to integrate disparate data sets into clear, concise reports
- A passion to stay current with issues and trends in digital marketing, with an emphasis on measurement and reporting, especially for mobile and emerging technologies
- Knowledge of SQL, marketing automation tools (Eloqua), AdobeCQ, jive, and DemandBase are all pluses
Responsibilities:
- Typical day-to-day tasks will include constructing and maintaining in-tool & custom dashboards, Tag Validation and implementation, regularly scheduled web reporting, and ad-hoc reporting & analysis using a range of web analytics and data analytics tools
- Define best practice approaches for analyzing online user behavior, and for interpreting data (in excel, in-tool dashboards, presentations- ) and be able to organize data into user-friendly standardized monthly reports as well as explain complex data in a clear and simple manner
- Strong analytical skills: able to review large amounts of data and to form hypotheses and draw meaningful patterns and insights from disparate data sources and provide recommendations to grow the business
- Provide proactive insights based on regular analyses and inquiries and create weekly/monthly reporting of performance to support key business objectives that help optimize the digital channel
- Work independently and with team members on research projects that incorporate web traffic and behavior, site conversions and funnels
- Development of the information and analysis necessary to help the company make informed, data-driven web development and interactive strategy decisions, turning data into insight to drive improvement to and adoption of the digital channel
- Manage, prioritize, and respond to ad-hoc requests for web from marketing managers outside of regular scheduled analyses
- Perform information gathering services including technical website analysis, competitive/keyword research, link analysis and support performance content maintenance and updates (SEO)
- Track and analyze web site performance, trends, click stream, paths and results of digital marketing initiatives to provide data driven business intelligence
- Contribute innovative ideas and recommendations to further improve the customer's online experience
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and have a high degree of self-management
- Ensure data quality and integrity for key audiences within marketing, sales and other internal organizations
