OPPORTUNITY IN TREASURY - TRADING / DEALING

Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation is one of the largest Japanese banks in the world and serves customers in APAC, EMEA and Americas region. The bank is majorly involved in commercial banking activities. In India, the bank has launched its operations in March 2013 and is growing steadily since then. We are looking out to recruit dynamic people for the branch to aid the business expansion plan in the country.

SUMMARY :

1. Quote FX and Derivative rates to sales Dealers

2. Manage open positions within the risk limits allocated

3. Maximize the profit for Treasury

4. Manage FX position book and Maximize profit from Treasury products

5. Maintain relationship with Interbank players

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Managing Treasury limit including individual trading limit

2. Managing the FX NOP utilization within the limit allocated

3. Manage the Aggregate Gap limit utilization within the limit allocated

4. Manage the BPV limit utilization within the limit allotted

5. FX NOSTRO A/c balances management for all foreign currencies

6. Cover Derivative transaction with inter-bank counterparts

7. Work towards achieving TRD profit target

8. Share market intelligence to Head of TRD & other dealing room members

9. Adherence to external (RBI, FEDAI, etc.) and internal (SMBC HO) guidelines.

QUALIFICATION : Post Graduate from a Tier - 1 Institute.

EXPERIENCE : 2 years and above in Treasury dealing room.
