MGR-AVP Treasure Sales Dealer-Forex-Large Corporates

Purpose of the position:

1. Marketing FX hedge solutions to Corporate clients based in West India.

2. Quote and execute FX deals with clients. Assist senior team members with their deal execution as well.

3. Develop strong relationship with customers.

4. Coordination with Business RMs to onboard new clients and grow Treasury Sales business.

5. Prepare and send daily market report to clients.

6. Prepare Treasury Sales MIS for management review.

7. Coordination with Back office, Trade Operations to ensure smooth deal execution.

8. Adherence with relevant RBI Guidelines and SMBC policies at all times.

9. Anciliary activities on the desk, viz, preparing daily Board rates etc.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Understand client requirements and market suitable FX and derivative solutions to Corporate clients based in South & West India.

2. Work closely with Business RMs to onboard new clients.

3. Deal FX & derivative transactions with customers. Work closely with Trading team to ensure smooth execution.

4. Ensure compliance with external (RBI, FEDAI, etc.) as well as internal (SMBC HO) guidelines at all times.

Desired Candidate Profile:

(a) Knowledge:

- Good understanding of client's underlying FX exposures and marketing FX hedge solutions.

(b) Skills:

- Good understanding of client's underlying FX exposures and marketing FX hedge solutions.

(c) Experience: 2-6 years experience of marketing Treasury products to clients.

(d) Qualifications: MBA or Chartered Accountant.

Certification: CFA / FRM would be an added advantage.
