JOB SUMMARY :

- Priority Sector Lending

- Credit Assessment

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1) Helping the branch meet its Priority Sector Lending targets through new/existing products.

2) Mentoring of Junior staff in credit related issues as well as PSL transactions

3) Ensuring Additional PSL non-export targets are met through PSL applicable transactions.

4) Monitoring of such Priority Sector Lending transactions through monthly monitoring reports and MTM to ensure that the transaction is within expected parameters

5) Stress Testing of Securitization transactions

6) Credit Assessment/ Appraisal, Risk Identification & Mitigation with respect to credit proposals

7) Adherence to credit proposals to Head Office policies & procedures and local regulatory requirements

8) Portfolio Assessment-Loan Portfolio Analysis

9) Continuous review of the Banks credit strategy, prepare recommendations for change in products, credit limits and other terms and conditions and levels of exposure to particular market segments or customers

10) Self-assessment and continuous monitoring of sanctioned limits

11) Due diligence on credit proposals. Vet the proposals submitted by Front and conduct necessary analysis (stress on company financials and credit quality) on the same. Review individual credit risk in accordance with the established Credit Rating System and Credit Quality Assessment.

12) Updating Credit Policy in line with RBI/Internal policies

13) Ensure that the Banks risks are properly addressed in terms of compliance with existing rules and regulations established by internal, local and international regulators

14) Detailing and analyzing exposures, providing comparisons and trends prescribed and specific provisions, key issues and large exposure information

15) Periodic internal and external reporting to HO and RBI, including self-assessment

16) Diversify PSL products/obligors through New Micro Finance Obligors and enhancement with existing obligors to achieve additional PSL targets.

17) Handling restructuring of advances including NPA management

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS

Qualification: Post Graduate

8 - 10 years of relevant experience

SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

1. Strong communication, negotiation & organization skills

2. Multi-tasking and excellent time management

3. Ability to work under strenuous situations and take decisions within the governance framework

4. High on solution orientation & resourcefulness. Should be ready to work for stretched hours

5. Has a strong execution bias and relentlessly works to remove roadblocks

6. Should be a team player
