SMBC - AVP -Information Security

- We are looking for a candidate who will be responsible for information security policy development and maintenance, design of security policy training, monitoring compliance with RBI regulations and applicable laws, investigation and reporting of security incidents.

- The candidate will monitor, assess the bank's IT business continuity and disaster recovery program, perform network penetration tests, application vulnerability assessment scans and reviews.

Some of the key responsibilities will be as follows :

- Develop and publish information security policies, procedures, standards and guideline

- Monitor and guide on information security issues related to the systems to ensure the security controls are appropriate and operating as intended

- Execute IT security projects and coordinate response for information security incidents

- Be aware of the latest security issues and assessment of bank's environment to manage security vulnerabilities

- Conduct bank-wide data classification assessment and security audits and manage remediation plans.

- Actively participate in the business change management and advise business functions about security and regulatory aspect.

Job Specification :

Education - University Graduate/Post Graduate with 8+ years of relevant experience

- IT Diploma (PGDIT/PGDCA etc)

- CISA/CISM/CISSP and knowledge of information security standards (e.g. ISO 17799/27002 etc.)

- Process adherence and ability to deliver on complex technical projects and initiatives

- Time management and good communication skills
