Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, is one of the largest banks in Japan and serves worldwide customers in APAC, EMEA and Americas region. The bank is majorly involved in commercial banking activities. In India, the bank has launched its operations in March 2013 and is growing steadily since then. We are looking out to recruit dynamic people for the branch to aid the business expansion plan in the country.

The current position that we are recruiting for is Assistant Manager/Manager - HR

JOB SUMMARY:

- The profile is that of the HR Generalist wherein the incumbent will be managing the entire gamut of HR operations.

- The candidate will be responsible for managing recruitment, employee orientation process, salary processing, employee benefits, learning & development activities, employee relations etc.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Understanding the manpower requirement and then accordingly plan for the sourcing of the profiles to meet the business objectives.

- The role will involve ensuring HR compliance for the organization

- Maintaining the recruitment vendor relationships and developing new sourcing channels for the bank in order to maintain the costs.

- The role involves negotiating with the candidate and inducting the new joiners and ensuring smooth on boarding process with completion of all the joining formalities.

- The role will also involve processing monthly salary, ensuring statutory compliance and reporting personnel expense on a monthly basis to the Head Office.

- The incumbent will also be involved in the OD interventions for the branch.

- The candidate will be assisting in managing the Performance Management Process of the branch and ensuring that the Goal Setting process and Half Yearly feedback process for all the departments.

- The role will also require candidate to conduct employee engagement activities, re-examining the policies and the procedures etc.

- The candidate will also be involved in managing the Internal Audit which takes place for the branch.

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:

Working Experience : 3 years or more with relevant HR Generalist experience

Qualifications : MBA/PGDM (regular course) from a reputed institute

MUST HAVE SKILLS:

- Good understanding of Indian Labor Laws

- Strong communication (Oral & Written)

- Ability to multi task and manage time

- Ability to work under strenuous situations

- Self starter

- Solution Oriented
