What is in the store for you? :

We seek to hire a talented Marketing Manager, who will be responsible for creating innovative marketing strategies that will build Smartserv's brand, leading to increased awareness, interactivity & responsiveness among our target audience. We are looking for a start-up leader with strategic, creative, and financial acumen as well as a strong business intellect to take Smartserv's growth to the next level. The ideal candidate would be more than open to getting his/her hands dirty doing 'groundwork' with a singular focus to obtain measurable and improved results.

You'd need to be awesome at :

1. Understanding SmartServ's Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and the landscape of the SaaS Industry to build the marketing engine.

2. Knows and can leverage SEO, SEM, Email Marketing and similar Digital marketing strategies and generating lead

3. Developing and executing multi-channel campaigns to drive leads

4. Managing tools like Google Analytics and Search Console and optimizing content to perform in search engines

5. Defining and implementing keyword strategies

6. Develop, maintain and execute demand generation plans aligned with business goals.

7. Pioneering and implementing measurable strategies to drive hard revenue goals and increase awareness globally

8. Increase lead generation and qualification through a strategic and prescriptive demand generation strategy by segment and persona. This includes inbound lead acquisition

9. Has a good amount of hands-on experience with using paid campaigns as a source of generating leads- Analysing and optimizing the paid campaigns, creating paid advertising copies, strategizing and executing the right campaign structure

10. Make the connection with the sales and marketing team more streamlined.

11. Refining Smartserv's segmentation strategy and developing a marketing plan that reaches target segments quickly and effectively which includes identifying the right audience, finding the right platform for targeting and creating the right user journey

12. Analysing the marketing pitch and content strategies-Create marketing blogs, content marketing plans, strategizing and creating website content

13. Owning & evolving Smartserv's brand assets including website, content generation, product collaterals & creatives, customer success stories and more

14. Being an awesome curator & presenter of the content on a variety of channels (Social Media / Blog / SlideShare / YouTube / Events etc.)- creating a social media strategy, building brand's social media presence and promoting brand on social media

15. Planning and executing a marketing strategy for the organization and for new and existing products or services

16. Creating reports, establishing key performance indicators and ROI tracking presentations

Device user stories for prospect demos, participate in RFP/RFI, discovery calls, work closely with inside sales

Background :

1. 5-8 years of relevant experience in Marketing functions

2. Bachelor's or Master's degree- Marketing, Communications, Public Relations and Business management will be preferred

3. Experience in an IT company will be strongly preferred. Experience working with an early-stage SaaS start-up is a huge advantage

4. Must have excellent English written and oral communication skills.

5. Self-motivated with a positive and professional approach to management.

6. Exceptional organizational abilities, proactive, reliable, detail-oriented, strong multi-tasking and prioritization abilities in a high-frequency environment.

7. Ability to assimilate technical knowledge.

8. The ability to think creatively and deliver clever concepts

9. Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and work independently

10. A problem-solver who sees every brief as a creative opportunity

You will have an edge if you are :

1. In love with Social Media Channels like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Quora & LinkedIn Savvy about Blogging & PR activities

2. Breathe new life into our website, ad creative & email campaigns

3. Help develop positioning and content strategies for existing and new Smartserv products and services

4. Concept ideas that build awareness and make our brand famous

5. Creative, Smart, Storyteller & People person (should we call a Charmer)

6. Data-driven & super-analytical in prioritizing various traffic generation & branding activities

7. Curious about industry case-studies, white-papers & blogs around Innovation in Digital Advertising

8. Ability to criticize constructively about Web Design & User experience

9. Out of the box thinker and love to test boundaries of creativity

10. Worked with early-stage start-ups or SaaS companies in the past

11. You are eloquent and can communicate with multiple stakeholders (external or internal).

12. You have a Curiosity mindset.

13. You have strong communication and articulation skills. Fluency in English is a bonus.
