Job Title: Head of Product Management Department: Product Location: Vashi, Navi Mumbai Role &amp; Responsibilities: The Product Head acts as the owner of a product line and is responsible for managing end-to-end Product lifecycle. The role encompasses Competitive Market study, Product conceptualization, gathering business requirements, defining the product vision, developing the product roadmap, go-to-market strategy and working closely with engineering, sales, marketing and support to ensure delivery in line with the roadmap and Business goals. - Product strategy and direction: Define both long term strategy and short term plans to achieve the product vision and deliver business results - Conceptualization: Ensures consistent execution of product lifecycle processes from concept to launch. Ensures value-based prioritization of product development initiatives. Responsible for setting overall direction in the conceptual development of the product lines, making sure they are consistent with market trends and business strategy - Product launch: Produce high quality product specifications (User Stories) and effectively prioritize and manage the scope of each product launch to deliver key capabilities on time. Manages a crossfunctional process for prioritizing, delivering and launching products - Clarifying and validating business rules at the time of requirement gathering, that would result in major improvements in data quality and integrity - Lead a team of product managers, UI designer, web developer, being in charge of the entire process, from sketching to the final product. - Deliver required documentation for Engineering and Development teams with prioritized features and corresponding commercial justification. Support Functional testing and signoff before release - Strong understanding of Product Management role for Data backed Products, Big Data &amp; Data Science technologies. Should be able to Evangalize Data life cycle &amp; its impact on Features &amp; Workflows to be well studied before ideation - Knowledge on Data analysis, Social media data gathering, Statistical modeling UX, UI development &amp; Data Visualization. Familiarity with Analytical tools like R and similar tools - Drove innovation in products and processes to improve customer experience as well as to reduce the cost of execution - Deep DATA focus on areas such as Data Governance, Data Federation, Data Cleansing, Data Migration, Metadata, Master Data Management (MDM). Renowned expert and technology visionary with extensive experience, knowledge and passion on Information Management, Data Management, Data Architecture, Web and Data related technologies Desired Experience/Qualifications: - Minimum of 10+ years- experience in Product Management with Enterprise Applications in B2B space in a Technology environment is a must - Demonstrated success in defining and launching new products - Extensive experience in building multiple products from scratch and led full cycle from requirement analysis, development, pitching to prospects, Beta testing, Go-Live and support - Curious about metrics, execution processes, problem solving mindset and keeping an eye out for details - Analytical and data driven decision making approach in day-to-day work. - Energetic self-starter with ability to work independently in a competitive and fast paced environment - Ability to organize and lead multiple threads of activity concurrently - Comfortable working hands-on in a fast-paced startup environment - Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills - Technical background, with experience in Data Analytics will be an added advantage - Passion for Information Management and Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, MapReduce, Hive, Pig - Technical in-depth knowledge on software and ability to dive into details with engineers, monitor QA initiatives and engage with customers and non-technical audience - Bachelor's degree in computer science; MBA preferred but not a requirement
