About the role We are looking to hire someone in a pivotal role to own financial reporting and work on various initiatives/projects to make the finance function future-ready. This role will give the individual an opportunity to contribute to all parts of the finance function.

- This will be an Individual Contributor role to start with and can evolve based on how the individual and role mature.

- Key Responsibilities - Primarily responsible for ensuring accuracy, completeness and timeliness in periodic financial & MIS reporting (for internal as well as external reporting)

- Act as a subject matter expert for matters of accounting & financial reporting in the organization

- Undertake projects to make the finance function process-driven and scalable - this will include implementing process improvements, implementing frameworks, and/or technology solutions across dierent finance processes - Assist in initiatives related to business finance which could include working capital management, analysing business performance, etc.

- Assess the risk & control environment across processes and implement necessary controls as may be needed to ensure the presence of a robust risk & control posture in the organization - Assist in audits, due diligence and any other ad-hoc finance project which is time-sensitive and critical to the organization

Requirements - Qualified Chartered Accountant with 5-6 years of post-qualification experience - In-depth knowledge of Ind AS, accounting principles and financial reporting guidelines - Proven work experience in financial & MIS reporting - Experience in process improvements, automation, and risk & controls management is desirable. Working knowledge of business finance is an added advantage - Experience of having worked in product-led startups and the financial services sector is a big plus - Capability in interfacing with product, business and analytics teams within the organization - Ability to work independently with limited supervision, a strong sense of ownership and a problem-solving mindset

- Proficient in MS Excel/Google Sheets. Knowledge of Zoho ERP is a plus.
