Each smallcase can be treated as an index and is constructed using proprietary quantitative and fundamental algos and models. Just like stocks and MFs, investors can buy and invest in smallcases through their brokers. smallcases are already available on India's biggest stock brokers like - HDFC Securities, Axis Direct and Zerodha We're looking to hire for our Investment Products team that primarily develops & maintains smallcases Role : - Responsible for equity research including generation of new ideas in Indian equities across sectors - Maintain constant industry coverage -related news, trends, and other developments - Should be able to spot emerging trends and utilize them to generate differential view - Build financial models of companies, forecast financials based on relevant research and valuation models - Prepare company/industry specific investment presentations/research reports What we are looking for: - Candidates should have 2-6 years of past equity research experience - Profound understanding of Indian equity markets - Well versed with different valuation techniques, financial modeling and developing integrated cash flow models - CFA would be an added advantage - Excellent MS Excel and VBA skills. Knowledge of programming languages will be an added advantage - Should be proficient in using softwares like Thomson Reuters and Bloomberg - Strong written and verbal communication skills
