Network Security Architect (M1 Grade)

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

- Minimum 15+ years experience of Network Security Architecture

- Experience in Recommending, Designing, Implementing, Maintaining, Network hardware and Software systems

- Proficiency in network architecture and design, network security, and network monitoring

- Hands-on experience in designing and deploying large scale network security technologies

- Experience working with highly effective engineering teams through major technology transitions

- Experience working in complex network environments with legacy systems

- Experience with virtual network environments, datacenter and WAN networking technologies, SD-WAN, and network security technologies from providers including Zscaler, Palo Alto, Symantec, and Cisco

- Provide Subject Matter Expertise for all networking technologies with heavy participation in key decision-making processes for the acquisition of current/new technologies.

- Demonstrate a consultative approach to strategic decisions with a particular emphasis on design and delivery

- Experience in multi-vendor networking technologies

- Experience with core network services like DNS, DHCP, and NTP in a global, distributed environment

- Strong exposure on dynamic routing protocols (i.e EIGRP, OSPF, BGP)

- Ability to be flexible, decision oriented, and motivated to support management initiatives

- Provide advanced troubleshooting and problem solving with a wide variety of client/user issues and act as an escalation point for Security / Network related issues

- Maintain a relationship with key Third-Party vendors, such as software/hardware vendors to provide support to the infrastructure as needed.

- Provide consultation service to support new Service Requests / Intake Process

- Provide oversight of Technology / Change Management Planning

- Execute project plan as authorized

- Experience in Authentication & Authorization systems along with Platform Administration

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree with 15+ years of Network Security Architect experience

- Industry certification on Security products like - Cisco CCNA/CCNA/Security, CCNP/CCNP Security, CCIE certifications, Cisco SISE, Forescout FSCA/FSAA/FSCE certifications

- Project Management Experience

- Experience or background with automation using Ansible and/or Python

- Experience with cloud deployments such as GCP and AWS

- Strong documentation and communication skills

- Ability to explain and elaborate on technical details
