Role specific skillsets:

The candidate, once selected, will be joining the Business Advisory Practice of SKP, as the Assistant Manager / Senior Executive, as part of a select lean team of highly qualified consultants who run the processes listed above for our clients. It will be part of the role of the candidate to play a key role in the following areas:

1. Supply chain and operations: Provides solutions to clients related to efficiency and improvement of their business functions. This includes solutions related to the procurement, operations, supply chain and distribution, cost reductions, network optimization, reporting and monitoring, outsourcing and off-shoring. Technology platforms of our clients include SAP (all versions), Oracle, and Tally. When required, will have to assist in reporting platforms such as Tableau, BI, etc.

2. Business Process Management of Middle office / Business Analytics related projects: These provide clients with business intelligence. It will be a value added management and reporting service beyond that of - normal- or - run of the mill- capabilities, i.e. those which cannot be automated and have a significant and direct impact on its clients- businesses, having a major component of co-working with client personnel.

Examples will include:

1. Procurement process and supply chain

2. Inventory levels, forecasting and product movements

3. Distribution, delivery operations and network management and sales collections.

It will be part of the role of the candidate to:

1. On the Client front,

- Engage with clients, understand and map their processes,

- Lead / execute consulting engagements such as supply chain optimization, sales & distribution strategy, growth strategy, etc.

- Manage projects from first contact to final delivery and ensure adherence to scope, timelines, budgets, quality standards, and risk management to achieve customer satisfaction.

- Ensure supply chain process optimisation, documentation and backup functions wherever possible,

- Be creative and flexible and devise ways to improve operations so as to add value to clients; includes help clients setup reporting functions using dashboards through tools such as Tableau using the clients- existing ERP such as SAP.

- Help clients see value in outsourcing the non-repetitive processes to SKP

- Prepare reports / presentation decks to be shared with client

2. Within the organization:

- Contribute to sales, consulting offerings and internal initiatives.

- Support various internal activities in relation to the business advisory practice which includes active participation in development of the strategy of the practice, products / service lines, positioning, collateral building, etc.

To be tailor-fit for the above skillsets, you need to have,

1. A qualification in Supply chain and ops major from a top business school, and be a Black belt process manager

2. Minimum 4 years of experience in a supply chain/ops role

3. Previous experience in implementing constant improvements and modification plans of complex, non-repetitive functions or processes

4. Experience in people management

5. Proficiency in English
