Senior Legal Council - We are seeking an energetic and pragmatic attorney with 3+ years of experience to join our Legal team. Candidate must be detail-oriented and an excellent communicator, with an ability to exercise independent judgment and juggle multiple projects effectively. - The Senior Legal Counsel will assist the CEO office and provide legal support to all aspects of Skill-Lync in different locations across India and abroad -ranging from commercial, marketing, compliance, operations, procurement, finance and corporate activities. - He/ She will be responsible for legal drafting of all kinds of commercial contracts, corporate advisory, compliance, litigation etc. - This position reports directly to the CEO. - This role is an individual contributor role which may in future turn into a managerial position. Responsibilities: 1. Drafting and reviewing various corporate agreements, frame contracts and other legal documents 2. Anticipating and identifying legal issues of concern to the organization and proactively developing practical solutions. 3. To ensure statutory compliances as per the Companies Act and also give advice on legal aspects. 4. Providing strategic direction to litigation matters. 5. Keeping track of developments in applicable laws and sharing impact with business teams. 6. Ensuring adherence to all applicable statutory compliances. 7. Articulating corporate positions on matters of compliance, regulations and Government policies. 8. Supporting business teams in formulating responses, feedback and representations to various Government departments, authorities. 9. Institutionalizing best practices for litigation and documentation management with an objective to increase efficiencies. 10. Initiating cross functional efforts to drive organizational alignment. Key Traits: 1. Ability to think strategically and manage multiple agreements for a single transaction. 2. Detail oriented. 3. Ability to manage multiple urgent priorities. 4. Experience with identifying and mitigating legal and operational risks related to alliance partners, vendors etc. 5. Experience driving a strong compliance culture that involves monitoring high risk areas and associated legal and operating requirements. 6. Excellent self-starting organizational and project management skills with experience in coordinating multi-task responsibilities and projects. 7. Excellent decision-making and execution skills. 8. Solution-oriented with excellent communications skills. 9. Ability to effectively communicate internally and externally with stakeholders Minimum Qualifications: 1. LLB/LLM from premier law college with good academic credentials 2. Must be an active member in good standing of at least one state's bar
