Six Sigma Commercial Lead - Automotive/Manufacturing

Position shall provide leadership, training and implementation of Six Sigma techniques through the utilization of Kaizen and total associate involvement. To identify and implement continuous improvement activities to foster growth initiatives in the region ( Funnel Management, Transformative Marketing, Daily Management, Visual Management and other improvement tools), reduce cost of operations while maintaining quality and customer expectations, improve quality/productivity and standardize work processes for various commercial processes for the organisation and its APAC regions.

Key Responsibilities

- Planning, facilitation and implementation of kaizen activities for driving growth

- Training of improvement tools to all associates in APAC region

- Audits existing processes and systems to assess/determine actions required for improvements

- Coordinate Six Sigma efforts with Operations staff and supporting functional groups

Background:

- Knowledgeable in the use of computers and cameras

- Excellent facilitation/communication skills to work with individuals and training others

- Minimum of 3-8 years - experience with lean manufacturing and Toyota Product Systems

- Trained and skilled in the use of all critical Six Sigma tools; 5S, Standard Work, SMED, DMP, Policy Deployment and Visual Management

- Knowledge and understanding of Employee Involvement and Team Development skills

- Participation in a minimum of 20 kaizen activities and leader/facilitator of at least 10 kaizen teams

- Bachelor degree required, Engineering or POM preferred

- Formal training on team skill and communication/facilitation techniques

- Formal training on lean manufacturing concepts
