Sivaraj Spinning Mills - Manager - Production

1. Planning of the Apparel production with the order sheet and delivery period.

2. To prepare Apparel production plans Weekly, Monthly, and Quarterly.

3. To monitor the material status for each order and follow the receipt for the order progress.

4. Plan the Layout according to the styles and ensure desired output is achieved.

5. Receive Swatch card and approved sample against the order and ensure that the Garment matches the requirement.

6. To have a Pre-production sample prepared and compared with the approved sample.

7. To assign duties and responsibilities to the Subordinates and Line Supervisors.

8. To coordinate with the Quality Assurance Manager for ensuring the product quality and to modify the process for achieving desired results as and when required.

9. To minimise the waste in cutting and sewing, and also to ensure the thread and other trims are properly used and realised. Unnecessary wastes are avoided and Garment rejections under control.

10. To ensure proper up keeping and maintenance of the machines, housekeeping of the lines, proper tools and accessories used.

11. To ensure Proper Lighting, Toilet Facilities, Drinking Water Facilities are provided with acceptable conditions for achieving good output.

12. To assess his subordinates for placement, elevation and yearly salary revision.

13. To plan for continuous training of the workforce to achieve production output, minimised delay times, quick change of styles.

14. To approve the commencement of the production against any work order.

15. To coordinate with all concerned for achieving the production in assured delivery time.

16. To work on the Production and attendance incentive schemes for motivating the team to set the new benchmarks.

17. To monitor the discipline among the work force and ensure Safety and welfare of the workers.

18. Proper documentation to be followed for recording the production and system ERP entries to match with the actuals and stock. Record keeping for future reference to be maintained.

19. Proper and safe storage systems to be followed for correct storage of Cut Panels, Accessories, WIP and Finished garments free from damages and loss.

20. To lead the team and inspire to unite as a team to achieve good results and new benchmarks.
