Description - Lead the engineering function of a consumer goods plant for one of the largest global FMCG company.

Client Details :

Our client is a European FMCG company with a strong presences across the globe. In India they have been active for over 50 years and are present in multiple category of products.

Description :

- Ensure the availability of efficient services and plant to achieve manufacturing target and other customer requirements.

- Achieve high plant Availability &; Reliability levels at Optimal Cost.

- Monitor the Plant Reliability, Availability and Performance on a regular basis.

- Improve Plant, Equipment and System Performance, Reliability and Availability.

- Prevent Plant/Equipment/System failures by establishing state of the art Condition Monitoring/inspection techniques and Maintenance Practices incorporating a combination of TPM, Predictive and Preventive Maintenance.

- Carry out Remaining life Assessment studies and upgrade/revamp/replace Equipment/Plant in cost-effective ways, on a continuous basis, considering the life cycle costs.

- Investigate major Failures to determine the root cause.

- Ensure that all activities are carried out in accordance with well defined standards/specifications/drawings meeting the requirements of current related engineering standards and guidelines, EHS guidelines and relevant National/ International standards.

- Prepare and monitor budget and expenses under Revenue, Capitals, Labour, Work Services to meet targeted requirements and controls.

- Lead the introduction of technological change, for improved Quality, GMP &; Safety and OE/cost effectiveness.

- Ensure QMS / EHS requirements are understood and being followed to bring improvements, avoid non compliance during the audits and promote occupational health and safety through proper handling of maintenance activities to achieve accident free work environment.

- To ensure implementation and sustenance of mitigation plans as directed. And escalate to management where gaps are critical and needs support / resources.

- Liaise with all Statutory Authorities such as Electricity Board, Boiler Directorate, Electrical Inspectorate and Assist for Factory Inspectorate &; Pollution Controls Boards for Statutory compliance.

- Monitor implementation of work procedure under QMS, GMP for ISO 9002/14001 compliance.

Profile :

You will have a BE/B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical engineering with an experience of atleast 15 years in managing Engineering teams in Consumer Goods Industry. You should have managed a team of atleast 15 people and should have a strong experience in Utility Management. You should have a complete understanding of the Site compliance, primarily GMP for ISO 9002/14001.
