This role :
SISTEMA.BIO will be serving the Indian agricultural markets in 2018 and are actively building their Sales Team to drive sales and brand awareness of SISTEMA.Bio in India. This is a great leadership opportunity with an opportunity to hold a key leadership position and be able to independently take decisions to drive results.

Key responsibilities :
- Build a promotion network among dairy farmers, veterinarians, dairy engineers, rural extension technicians and rural sales professionals
- Be in charge of the recruiting, training, and coordination of this sales team in 3-5 districts.
- Translate strategic goals of the company to a regional Sales Strategy
- Assign & manage day to day lead generation, sales, follow-ups, and conversion for the team
- Manage 3-5 districts & enroll new distributors, partners and a network of stakeholders to develop a strong sales network
- Hire and manage sales coordinators in the region to drive sales
- Responsible for conducting regular promotion programs to promote the technology and brand awareness in the region.
- As Head of Sales, you will additionally be responsible for making the overall sales strategy, goals, sales projections and timelines for achievement
Must haves:
- Should have experience of rural direct sales and channel sales experience
- Should have previous experience across sectors like agriculture / irrigation / dairy / renewable energy-solar / fertilizers / pesticides / seeds / pumps
- Should have previous experience managing a team
- Should be willing to spend 50% + time on the field
- Head of Sales, should have additionally had B2B (eg. NGO) or corporate sales (eg. dairy) exp
Preferences :
- Should have worked previously for a startup for SME.
- Enthusiastic about being on the field
- RSMs - Fluent communication in Hindi and local language. Head of Sales should be able to communicate (verbally and written) in Hindi and English
