Position - Business Development Manager Simplotel is looking to hire a Business Development Manager, in a full-time capacity, based out of our office in Bangalore or Delhi. The Business Development Manager is responsible for selling our SaaS our offerings to hotels. The is a B2B sales position requires extensive traveling. You will be responsible for generating leads, nurturing them, and closing them. Once the customer signs up, you will also be responsible to ensure that the customer is onboarded. If you enjoy meeting people, have the flair to build relationships, and are able to explain complex technical concepts to laymen, you will enjoy working in this position. Responsibilities : 1. Generate leads, cold call hotels, schedule meetings and do product demonstrations for hotels. Meet/exceed your revenue targets. 2. Handle objections, nurture leads, negotiate contracts, and sign up hotels. 3. Travel extensively to meet hotels and demonstrate our product. 4. Manage leads in CRM and send out Daily Sales Reports. 5. Attend trade events to generate leads. Develop partnerships to generate more leads. 6. Gather information required from hotels to onboard them, coordinate with the onboarding team, and communicate with the customers. 7. Meet existing customers and partner relationships. Skills : 1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering and MBA preferred (either is not mandatory). - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Fluency in Hindi and/or regional languages a plus. 2. Excellent persuasion skills and ability to convince people and Flair to build rapport with people. 3. Ability to simplify technical concepts so that non-technical buyers can understand. 4. Create engaging presentation and product demos to a set of buyers. Handle objections and consult. 5. Aggressive nature to meet or exceed targets.Prior experience in selling SaaS or B2B technology or travel products is a plus 6. Willingness to travel extensively 7. Self-Starter and ability to work with little guidance, Ownership, Energy, Ethics, Team player, Hunger to learn
