Simpl was founded in 2015 by Nityanand Sharma and Chaitra Chidanand, and went live in 2016 The successful candidate is an experienced software development leader who understands and sets a high bar for all parts of the software development and deployment lifecycle, including design, development, documentation, testing and operations. You must possess strong verbal and written communication skills, be self-driven and deliver high quality results in a fast-paced environment. You need to really enjoy working with their customers and peers, and help plan and deliver results that matter for the business. Basic Qualifications : - 15+ years of professional experience in software development/engineering. - 5+ years of people management experience. - Hands-on architectural and distributed systems experience. - Demonstrated object-oriented software development experience object oriented-based language. - Demonstrated experience building and operating high volume and highly scalable web systems. - A track record of project delivery for large, cross-functional, projects - Strong track record of building productive and successful software development teams and developing talent. - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field. Preferred Qualifications : - Experience with Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing and Big Data technologies. - Ability to take raw product requirements and create software architectures and designs to bring them to life. - Hands-on expertise in disparate technologies, ranging from front-end user interfaces through to back-end systems and all points in between. - Proven ability to juggle multiple, competing priorities simultaneously and make things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. - Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work successfully with teams across the organization, including Engineering, Program Management, Product Management, Quality Assurance, and Senior Leadership. - Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
