We require a high energy, dynamic, experienced and radical Entrepreneur, with Fashion Accessory/Retail expertise for our Startup, SilverKnight Technologies Pvt Ltd (SKT), based out of IIT Delhi. SKT is currently consisting of 2 IIT Professors and IIT Delhi as the stakeholder in the company alongwith 3 Partners on board. SKT aims at designing, developing, manufacturing and marketing Consumer Durable Products with element of technology involved in it.

About the company -

SKT is an innovation company aimed at improving security of consumer durables alongwith designing, delivering and managing technology related solutions in Engineering (Noise and Vibrations) and IT Domain.

SKT's Product division is focused on building technology which will form basis for Consumer Durables (Luxury Goods) thereby providing a multi layered protection from Theft and Tampering of the physical data and information contained in those assets. This technology is codenamed A2TB.

A2TB shall redefine the concept of Consumer Durables' Security with its sophisticated features reaching out to larger audience by not only limiting the scope of our product to premium market segment, but to enable our technology to reach mid market segment at an affordable price and thereby assuring security as a way of life.

SKT's Consulting division is aimed at delivering value proposition to our clients by developing solutions matching exact customer specifications in the following domains

- Noise

- Vibration

- IT

Job Description -

- Formulate and develop the business directions, objectives, targets and plans for the responsible product.

- Lead company and staff performance on a regular basis to ensure long term achievement of the plans.

- Drive business development and expansion strategies to build and maintain SKT’s market position, with the individual’s strong business connections and experience in the vertical.

- Manage the Consumer Products business by working with the functional heads as well as directing the brand management. Responsible for the P&L of the Consumer Products vertical.

- Provide effective leadership and oversight of the business operations to ensure smooth operation of the office and all departments are in compliance with the company direction and legal requirements.

- Build strong management team and relationship. Manage the manpower effectively and to ensure high service standard and high team spirit among staff.

- Review and analyze periodical financial operations, financial reporting in order to further plan and modify the strategical and operational activities of retail operations.

- Implement the Company operational procedures, policies and standards.

- Report to the Functional Director / Board on a regular basis of the activities of all areas in the company and business opportunities and make recommendations accordingly.

The Successful Applicant -

- University degree, preferably majoring in Business or related disciplines.

- At least 8 years of relevant experience in senior management capacity, preferably in luxury goods in Asia, including at least 3 years in Fashion Accessory retail business.

- Experience as a business start-up leader, or as a senior sales leader for key businesses.

- Thorough background of retail business dynamics, preferably be involved in high fashion goods.

- Excellent market knowledge, strong connections, and business acumen for the Asia market.

- With a strong passion to succeed and be able to motivate the team to achieve targets.

- Strong planning and management skills.

- Good people management and leadership skills.

What's On Offer

This is an Entrepreneurial Position and the candidate is expected to be having an independent business leader mindset. This position shall entail equity stake for the selected Entrepreneur and SKT expects an investment from the candidate in lieu of the equity allotted. Candidates with prior P&L (Profit and Loss) experience shall only be considered for the position. Candidate should be a risk taker as is required with any start-up company and thus, be ready for exponential growth and corresponding remuneration for the position.
