Responsibilities : - Update and maintain all IT SOX related artifacts including narratives, flowcharts, and risk control matrix with the requests of the IT Business Risk Officers - Coordinate with the IT heads and leads and business head to set up walk throughs and obtain testing support as needed - Working with the IT Business Risk Officers to obtain necessary evidence items and escalating past due evidence request items. - Clearly document walk through and testing procedures performed, issues identified, and report issues to lead/supervisor, Assist your supervisor with communicating deficiencies, reviewing responses for validity, and tracking remediation efforts - Track status to the plan and report delays to supervisor and assist with management reporting - Provide recommended changes to controls if underlying processes and applications have changed or new items / risks added to the business in an advisory function - Assist external audit requests and respond to follow up questions timely, Ensuring that IT controls across ITGC, ITACs, IPEs are tested and reported to leads and supervisor Position Requirements : - Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, MCA, MBA, Accounting and Finance - 4+ years of experience in internal controls over financial reporting (SOX), broad understanding of Internal Controls over Financial Reporting, SSAE16 and SSAE18 based reviewing audits and IIA Standards and various auditing techniques - Experience in performing walk throughs and testing across all the phases of SOX audit programs. - Critical thinking and collaboration skills - Project management and organization skills, with the capability to work on the testing of multiple controls simultaneously with minimal direction in a dynamic and fluid environment - Pro-active, high energy and strong interpersonal skills with a team-focused attitude, demonstrating the ability to collaborate and compromise while building constructive and effective relationships - Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical abilities, including problem solving and time management skills - Experience of performing validation testing or testing the work performed by 1st line of defence - Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience of drafting detailed audit documentation - Basic understanding of IT Controls and some experience in performing IT controls testing would be helpful - Experience with the Microsoft Office suite of products (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.), including an understanding of the v-lookup, text, reference and logical and information functionality in excel. Ability to work effectively under pressure without compromising professional standards or quality of the work being performed Key Experience : - Financial services industry experienced preferred - Experience at Big 4 Accounting firm preferred, Strong leadership skills - Understand Sarbanes-Oxley 404, SOX 302, SSAE 16, SSAE 18, COSO Framework, U.S. GAAP, and IIA standards and various auditing requirements. Knowledge of industry framework, standards and practices (COBIT, ITIL, CMMI, ISO 2700x, etc.) - CIA, CISA, and CISSP preferred
