The primary function of this role is to support the Transformation and project management initiatives for Finance Organization. The candidate is expected to lead the functional and technology initiatives defined under Transformation roadmap for the given period.

This role is expected to work simultaneously on multiple projects, gathers, examine, and analyze data using analytical and modelling tools, functional knowledge, business judgement and problem solving skills to deliver solutions in line with business & senior management expectations both in terms of quality and agreed timelines..

Job Responsibilities :

- Business Acumen to understand functional objectives and develop an initiative level roadmap to drive transformation projects.

- Responsible for identifying an area of opportunity within the remit and implementing processes to change its performance for the better

- Ensures the right initiatives are undertaken and the benefits are fully realized

- Provides a governance structure. Ensure accountability and enables the predictability of the outcomes of each initiative.

- The key results areas are business service planning, project strategy, communication and change management, automation/RPA, Transitions, continues improvement & tracking.

- Evaluate current state, perform gap analysis and Re-design processes, and deploy in the defined functions/ work streams while ensuring adequate engagement from stakeholders, across the enterprise to prioritize areas in needs.

- Manage evaluation and reporting on performance against the roadmap and broader set of operational excellence targets

Recommendations :

- Validate documentation to verify they are in line with standards

- Develops alternatives and solutions for a board range of problems and exercises judgement based on analysis of multiple inputs.

- Provide recommended changes to controls if underlying processes have changes or new items/risk added to the business and supervisor

- Make decisions that influence the testing program that could impact the business

- Receives general direction and independently coordinates and leads walkthroughs and testing procedures

- Leads smaller or less complex projects and serves as a resource to another team member

- Routinely makes recommendations that require approval to implement with the occasional decision without approval.

- Occasionally makes recommendations that require approval; does not make impactful decisions that do not require approval.

- Routinely follows defined process.

Skills :

- MBA Finance, Black Belt / Lean Certification, CMMI L4/5, PMP, Prince 2 Certified

- knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)

- Strong working knowledge of financial, operational, compliance, and systems auditing techniques.

- Strong verbal and written communication, report drafting, and presentation skills, and proficiency with the English language.

- Ability to think outside the box and challenge the status quo.

- Must be able to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with flexibility to adjust to time zones

- CPA or CA preferred

- CISA/CRISC certifications would be an advantage

Required Experience :

- 8-10 years of relevant experience in Finance Transformation with an understanding of Treasury function / CCAR deployment along with project management methodology

- Strong knowledge of project management tools and techniques

- Understanding of ERP/ technology deployment

- Experience of working within Banking/ Financial services industry

Skill Set:

- Advance presentation and MS excel skills and Microsoft Office applications is mandatory

- Strong analytical, numerical, research and problem-solving skills

- Experience of working in a GDC/ GIC set up for a large to medium organization

- Excellent written and spoken communications skills

- Able to interact with internal/ external stakeholders and ensure interactions are of a high quality of service

- Efficient and well organized, able to work under tight deadlines

- Outstanding attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to multitask

- Ability to be flexible with job duties, shift timings (2:00 pm to 11:00 pm IST) and scope of work

- Proven capability to work independently without hand holding and exercising sound judgment & initiative
