About C3i Hub

C3i Hub (Cybersecurity and Cybersecurity of Cyber physical systems Innovation Hub), a section 8 firm registered as - IHUB NTIHAC FOUNDATION - is a Technology Innovation Hub at IIT Kanpur.

C3i Hub project has been created under the National Mission of Interdisciplinary Cyber-Physical Systems (NM-ICPS) under the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. C3i Hub will accelerate adoption of Cyber-Physical Systems and related technologies and will augment the efforts of the government of India to upskill workforce in line with Industry 4.0."

C3i Hub aims to address the issue of cyber security of cyber physical systems (CPS) in its entirety. From analyzing security vulnerabilities and developing tools to address them at various levels of system architecture, to translating these tools to deployment-ready software, to nucleating start-ups developing these tools at scale, to partnering with industries in this domain and co-development and transfer of these technologies, to training the next generation of cyber security researchers and professionals. We are looking for a Business Development Manager who will have the responsibility to design and execute business strategies for company's objectives and explore new industry collaboration. You should be someone who is excited to take on different responsibilities as the company grows. The position will allow you to solve challenging technical problems in Cyber Security and Cyber Security of Cyber Physical Systems domains.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Identifying, qualifying, and securing business opportunities; coordinating with start-ups accounts; developing customized targeted sales strategies.

- Analyzing the market and creating reports that focus on client needs, solutions offering and support.

- Collaborating with Chief Industry Relations Officer on sales goals, planning, and forecasting; maintaining short- and long-term business development plans.

- Assessing company objectives and current sales trends to recognize new business opportunities and growth potential.

- Developing quotes and proposals for clients, responding to client requests for proposals (RFPs).

- Collaborating with leadership to secure, retain, and grow accounts.

- Creating informative presentations; presenting and delivering information to potential clients at client meetings, industry exhibits, trade shows, and conferences.

- Creating and maintaining a list/database of prospect clients; maintaining a database (Salesforce, CRM, Excel, etc.) of prospective client information.

- Outbound calls to prospective clients; closing sales and working with the client through the closing process.

- Maintaining a pipeline of all sales administration using CRM software.

- Building and maintaining relationships with current and potential clients

Eligibility :

- Graduate Degree from reputed National/ International University/Institute preferably an B. Tech with MBA.

- Minimum 5 years' experience in in sales, cold calling, business development, partner management and account management.

Desirable :
- Demonstrated experience in winning and retaining clients and establishing relationships with partners.

- Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills; the ability to call, connect, and interact with potential customers.

- Ability to think strategically and execute methodically.

- Familiarity with market research tools, frameworks, and methodologies.

- Persuasive and goal-oriented, possesses an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor.

- Able to communicate with C-Level Executives professionally and confidently.

- Excellent analytical and time-management skills.

- Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team.

Base Location: IIT Kanpur (Uttar Pradesh)

Travel :

- As and when required, across the country for project monitoring and execution as well as for coordination with geographically distributed teams.
