SigTuple - Program Manager - Software Engineering - Cloud/Data Science/AI

At SigTuple, we build the next generation AI enabled solutions for healthcare. We build stuff that makes healthcare diagnostics more accurate, more affordable, and more available to the next billion. We use AI at scale, dealing with millions of data points, providing near real time predictions and reports.

As the Manager of Platform Engineering at SigTuple, you will have the onus of building the next generation AI platform - solution agnostic, self scaling and self healing. You will be closely working with the Data Science teams and help integrate their models into the platform. You will also interface with the Robotics team and help make our devices cloud enabled and cloud monitorable.

Responsibilities:

- Manage 3-4 teams under the platform engineering umbrella, including development and QA.

- Provide architectural and technology guidance to the engineering teams

- Lead the definition of the technology roadmap for platforms

- Plan and execute on the deliverables

- Long term planning to remain at the edge of technology

- Maintain a strong focus on creation of intellectual property and publications in reputed journals/conferences

- Collaborate and work in tandem with the Data Science and Robotics teams

Requirements:

- B.Tech/M.Tech/Ph.D in Computer Science or related fields from a Tier 1/Tier 2 institution

-10+ years of experience with hands on Technical Expertise (not just people / client / delivery management)

- Proven experience in managing diverse teams

- Proven experience in taking large projects from concept to completion

- Experience in design and development of large scale heterogeneous systems with a focus on reliability and security

- Thorough understanding of the current state-of-the-art in distributed systems tools and AI/ML technologies

- Prior experience with at least one of the following languages - C, C++, Python
