About the Role: Responsible for overseeing an existing customer base and a new sales territory, and discovering new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products, and services, or new ways of reaching existing markets.
Responsibilities:
- Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
- Conduct research to identify prospects and build on existing relationships.
- To meet sales targets at an individual and company level.
- Ensure closure of all legal, technical, and compliance-related documentation with reference to particular accounts handled.
- Keep records of sales, revenue, and invoices, and help the finance team in the collection of invoices wherever payment is due.
- Develop and guide entry-level staff into valuable salespeople.
Requirements:
- Must have proven working experience as a Business Development resource.
- Proven sales track record with target achievements.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Powerpoint
- Ability to build rapport and have good negotiation skills.
- Time management, planning, and multitasking
- Have an obsession with being data-driven, highly analytical, should be a structured thinker
- Sales experience in SAAS is preferred.
