About the Role :
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team. As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our financial records and ensuring the smooth flow of financial transactions.
- Your responsibilities will include organizing books of accounts, managing invoices and receipts, coordinating with vendors, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
Job Responsibilities :
General Ledger Management :
- Assist in maintaining the general ledger by recording transactions and ensuring accuracy.
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts on a weekly basis.
- Ensure tax payment and returns are filed and executed on a timely basis.
Accounts Payable :
- Process vendor invoices and ensure timely and accurate payments and backup data.
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies.
Accounts Receivable :
- Generate and send client invoices and statements whenever required
- Follow up on overdue payments and maintain accurate records of receivables.
Financial Reporting :
- Close books and prepare and analyze financial reports on a monthly basis.
- Provide support in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Audit Assistance :
- Support statutory auditors, internal auditors, tax auditors and in due diligence process by providing necessary documentation.
- Assist in implementing audit recommendations and improvements.
Skills & Qualifications :
Qualifications : CA
- Knowledge of working with tally for raising invoices, debit and credit notes.
- Proven experience in finance and accounting roles, with a deep understanding of financial principles and practices.
- Good practical knowledge of accounting including taxation.
- Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data.
- Good communication skills to interact with colleagues and stakeholders effectively.
