Responsibilities:
- Strong skills in new business development, lead generation, and account management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze market trends and understand customer needs.
- Have to network & deal with multiple stakeholders - founders, risk managers, data scientists.
- Conduct compelling product demos for prospects; work with product and engineering to improve demo quality
- Negotiate contracts and close deals
- Responsible to develop, build and strengthen long term relationships with customers in the assigned territory / industry.
- Closely engage with customers building B2C products to provide consultative solutioning
- Strategically market and develop business opportunities for FinTech solutions across authentication, corporate due diligence, individual and corporate verification etc.
- Manage complete ownership of the end-to-end sales cycle.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of sales experience in SaaS, API Products, software etc.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field is preferred.
- Sales experience in a 1-10 startup in a parallel domain is a plus.
- Understanding of the ecosystem / network etc. is a plus.
- Solid hustle and entrepreneurial mindset; Thrive under the uncertainty that comes with a startup.
- Strong first principles understanding of business fundamentals; Ability to understand the product at a granular level. Ability to empathise with the end user, and understand their pain points.
- Ability to work independently
- Lead generation skills, including the ability to identify and target potential clients, lead follow-up, and conversion optimization.
- Business communication skills, including the ability to work collaboratively, communicate effectively across various levels of the organization, and build and maintain client relationships.
- Account management skills, including the ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously, with a focus on client satisfaction and retention.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
