Designation: Business Head - FTL (Full Truck Load) Operations Experience: 15-18 Years Job Location: Bangalore Education: MBA from Tier-1 B-School Role: - To be a part of the leadership team of Contract Logistics Team of SICAL Logistics. - To lead the P&L of the FTL vertical. - The manage the overall operations of the transportation business. - Set up B2B business model, location set up, Line haul, Vendor development & management. - Handle major accounts, new process set up in line with budget. - Redefine processes in fleet management, client management, vendor management & credit control. - Vendor management on first mile, line hauls as well as last mile, route planning, budgeting etc.. - Implement processes related to MIS, tracking, SLA's, utilization of fleet, cost analysis etc. - Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle - Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency - Lead all distribution and transportation planning and strategic activities. - Should have thorough knowledge of supply chain management and an understanding of warehouse procedures, including storing goods, dispatching orders and tracking transportation vehicles and should also be familiar with safety processes and legal regulations. - Ultimately, will ensure that all shipments are handled quickly, safely and within budget.
