Position: Sr.Manager - PMO  Location:Hyderabad  Job Description:  Centralize and communicate with the IT management. Apprise the Project Status / Project Findings of various projects. Manage a central repository of the program scope and update changes.  To create and support core PMO processes (Control documents, Reporting, Managing Risks and Issues, Change Management, Planning and Dependency Management).  Play a proactive role in the promotion of project management methods and standards, implementation of good project management practice, and the monitoring of certain projects.  Produce regular and ad hoc Senior Executive Reports, monitor and ensure that projects comply with the Governance framework.  Take lead in ensuring that the project has effective progress in places to identify, monitor and resolve changes.  Act as the custodian and guardian of all master copies of the Projects Artefacts.  Ensure that current and future projects are equipped with enough human resources of the right skills, at the time they are needed, and that those human resources are used as efficiently as possible.  Ensure the effective management of the projects stakeholders. Communicates with all areas affected by the project to include internal subject matter experts and external corporate departments within Finisar.  Proficiency at Project management Tools (MS Project, PPM Studio etc...)  PMP / PRINCE 2 certification preferred  Primarily in IT Functional Project Management   Strong knowledge of Project Management methodologies and best practices   Manage projects as per timelines  Project Management Certification (PMP)  Create and maintain PMO Tools, Templates & documentation  Perform project coordination activities on higher risk projects working with Senior project managers  Lead projects through all phases of development life cycle and ensure adherence to project constraints such as time, cost, quality, scope, resource requirements, and customer satisfaction.  Work with senior management, business process owners and clients from different member firms, vendors, and other staff to ensure all projects are properly defined and documented.   Communicate project status, progress, and impact on client management.   Develop integrated project plans, metrics, reports, templates, process documents and dashboards.   Analyze and initiate appropriate notification of issues that have the potential to jeopardize performance and/ or ability to meet agreed upon deliverables.   Assess implication of changes in the scope of work and participate in crafting necessary client messages.   Lead, facilitate and manage resource planning, cost estimation, budget and cost control.   Communicate (verbal and written) with business units that rely on that information to define requirements or processes  Provide improvement recommendations for process guidelines and frameworks to enable consistency across projects  Must Have:  PMP Certification  Relevant experience in a PMO office   6-9 years as a Project manager in an PMO  Preferred:  Business Analysis experience   BFSI or specifically Insurance domain is preferred
