Shriram Housing Finance Ltd. (SHFL) is a subsidiary of Shriram Finance Ltd. and a part of the over five decades old Chennai based Shriram Group. It is a Housing Finance Company (HFC), duly registered with the National Housing Bank and has started operations in December 2011. Headquartered in Mumbai, it is 3rd largest and one of the fastest growing Affordable Housing Finance Co. in the country today, with an AUM of INR 11000+ crores. SHFL boasts of an employee strength of over 3500+ employees, spread across 140 branches across 16 states in the country.

We are urgently looking to hire a senior resource to head our Learning & Development function (ideally at a VP/DVP level) as part of their Human Resource team, based in Mumbai. He/she will lead all the L&D initiatives across the organization, reporting to the Chief Human Resource Officer.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

- Understanding the company's overall business to develop and deliver learning strategies

- Responsible for designing and executing leadership development programs, functional and corporate behavioral programs.

- Strategizing and leading all people development interventions for the organization, including executive assessment, coaching, individual development planning, talent review, succession planning and leadership development program.

- Ensure functional capability framework is implemented and proper tracking is done to map ROI for the functions

- Design learning course, facilitate, review content and guide the L&D team to create effective learning solutions

- Create a learning-oriented work environment in synergy with organizational value to increase revenue impact

- Collaborate with senior management to identify present and future skill gap to develop a learning and development strategy to ensure talent is skill ready in future

- Create learning roadmaps across roles

- Work actively on creating and maintaining value proposition for the organization

- Building a culture of learning & continuous development, programs that are aligned with company's objectives

- Conceptualize learning interventions that enable people to continually expand their knowledge, skills and perspectives

- Build L&D curriculum, curate content & master delivery for key marquee programs.

- Conduct Training Needs Analysis using both structured and informal methods to capture requirements across the organization;

- Identify current and future developmental needs at the individual level, and capacity building requirements at the organizational level.

- Act as the principal point of contact for anyone with questions about learning and development

- Driving and facilitating the implementation of the L&D Plans to ensure smooth execution with effective outcomes; providing thought leadership around program design and delivery.

- Define and track metrics to measure effectiveness of all L&D initiatives and its impact on business.

- Closely work with team to ensure the Regional Trainers delivers good quality learning to internal stakeholders/participants.

- Designing e-learning courses, career plans, and technology based training methods.

- Refining existing systems and processes, and setting up new processes as required, including: creating and updating the Training Calendar; tracking training attendance; capturing feedback on training programs as well as conferences and workshops attended.

- Monitoring and evaluation of both structured and informal methods used; making continuous improvements in the approach, process and methods as appropriate;

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- Candidates with post-graduation qualifications in HR/OD with 12-18 yrs. of rich experience of leading the L&D team in design and delivery of learning interventions and leadership development strategies as well as content / curriculum development, with HFCs / NBFCs / Banks / Financial Services preferred.

- The person should be a self-starter with relevant training & assessment related certifications, and an proven ability to design & facilitate delivery of competency based learning programs; functional / process / product trainings and leadership development frameworks, at a pan India level.

- Excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to interact with all levels in the organization

- Demonstrate the ability to apply analytical and logical thinking in gathering and analyzing data and/or situations

- Planning and organizing skills - Can engage resources (people, content, material, support) to get things done.

- Demonstrated success in implementing innovative training techniques and learning technologies, in multiple areas including managerial and leadership development areas

- Experience in conducting organizational, program level, and individual needs analysis to identify learning and development needs; experience in running targeted development programs;

- Candidate must have demonstrated strategic and tactical capability to define and drive the learning agenda across the organization using contemporary training approaches and digitized / e-learning tools.

- Strong leadership management skills, i.e., comfortable with leading teams under uncertainty, ambiguity and constant change, yet able to set priorities and deliver to commitments

- Excellent interpersonal skills : able to effectively and quickly build relationships and establish trust, respect, competence, and confidence

- Excellent stakeholder management

- Openness to travel, as required.
