Head - Business Legal Work Location:- Mumbai (preferred local candidates only) Industry:- NBFC / BFSI must (other industry not getting considered) Job Description: - - Handle all legal and regulatory matters of the company - Drafting, confirming, vetting of various documentation / formats viz : Structuring documentation, Securitization, credit compliance, restructuring, litigation etc - Set up the legal department and structure and ensuring legal controllership. - Handle both retail and corporate products. - Experience in Home Loan, Loan against Property & Construction Finance. - Work with fundraising team on the legal and compliance side. - Hiring new vendors & Co-ordinating with empaneled advocates and agencies. - Needs to review the legal risks involved in various business deals / processes and share the same with the management. - Complete procedure handling of SARFAESI and Filling of Petition in respective CMM, DM, DRT and DRAT. - Actively engage in scrutiny of relevant documents in order to elicit any possible shortcoming in legal filings. - Conducting Legal Audit. - Other Miscellaneous Legal functions Required Skills: - Phd Law / LLM / LLB-Law - Must possess Leadership quality and should have headed a min 5 member legal team in a finance company. - Good verbal and written skills. - Result-driven individual
